About Me

Professional Careers Adviser with over 28 years experience of delivering impartial advice and guidance both in and outside education.  I have achieved both the NVQ 4 in Guidance and the QCF Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development.  I am currently employed part time in a school in Essex and I also work on a self employed basis in another school in Hertfordshire.  I have assisted schools in implementing and improving CEIAG, delivered 1:1 guidance, group work, LMI, CV and interview workshops, LDD assessments, organised careers fairs, developed and maintained links with employers and training providers. I have taken a lead role in achieving ROQA for one of my schools.  I have set up and delivered a work experience programme for year 10 students.  This led me to achieve the IOSH Health & Safety for Work Place Personnel qualification enabling me to assess work experience placements.  I am absolutely passionate about working with young people and have always felt lucky to have found a career I love.
