About Me

I am a Career Guidance Practitioner and Careers Leader working in a medium to large secondary school, supporting young people to explore their strengths, interests, and aspirations as they plan their future pathways. I provide impartial, student-centred careers guidance and I am committed to helping pupils make confident, informed decisions about their next steps. In my role as Careers Leader, I work holistically with teachers, pupils, and external partners to embed careers learning across the curriculum, ensuring that career development is a shared responsibility and a meaningful part of everyday learning. I am passionate about creating inclusive, aspirational careers provision that equips all students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed beyond school. I’m proud to have over 15 years’ experience working across higher and secondary education, supporting young people as they navigate important decisions about their futures. Being shortlisted for Lincolnshire Apprentice of the Year 2023 was a real highlight for me and reflects my belief in the value of apprenticeships, lifelong learning, and high-quality careers guidance for all students. I enjoy working with teachers and pupils to make careers learning a natural part of everyday lessons, helping students see how their interests, skills, and subjects can open doors to a wide range of opportunities. Building genuine relationships and creating inclusive, aspirational careers experiences is at the heart of what I do. Outside of work, I have a strong interest in design, I’m a keen follower of Formula 1, and a life long fan of Leicester Tigers RFC,
