About Me

A results focused careers, business and life coach with over 30 years experience in the energy sector, living and working both in the UK and internationally.  Over 20 years in management and leadership positions, with teams of up to 30 direct reportly employees.  An experienced mentor and coach, and an advisor to executive board members.  Masters degree qualified in Occupational & Business Psychology from Kingston University and CMI Level 7 Certified in Strategic management and Leadership.  My previous specialism in occupational health and safety also gives me professional insight into work stress, well-being and human factors in decision making.

My background in the engineering and energy industry was strongly geared towards setting and achieving targets and the timely production of deliverables. These are values that I bring as a coach, lending structure and purpose to what can be a wide ranging and often daunting exploration of each client’s vision, barriers to their goals and how best to overcome those barriers.  As a senior leader and advisor to executive and advisory board members I had to be articulate and able to present difficult data and information in a way that was easy for the non-expert to grasp and base their decision making on.  Again, whether verbal or written, I use this communication skill set to my clients’ advantage.

In summary, I have enjoyed a varied career working for big multi-national companies and small niche companies, I have worked with institutions like the EU and international financiers.  I have started companies and worked for myself as a consultant and developer, I have worked as a volunteer, I have lived and worked abroad.
