About Me

I am a Level 7 qualified career guidance practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with schools, colleges and universities.  My career related qualifications include the Level 6 Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance, the Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and a Masters Degree in Career Development all achieved at Nottingham Trent University.  Whilst providing career guidance services I abide by the CDI Code of Ethics at all times.

I have a background in widening participation gained whilst working for 'Aimhigher', a government-funded national outreach programme targeting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.  The positive impact of high quality careers education and its effect on social mobility remains a key professional driver for me.  I am fully commited to ensuring that every young person, irrespective of their background, is given the opportunity to carve out a successful and fullfilling career.

I joined Complete-Careers LLP in 2019 where I enjoy varying responsibilities as a Senior Career Practitioner which include developing new career education resources, delivering career related training to a range of external partners including schools, colleges, universities and LEPs and managing bespoke projects.  I am a fully trained Quality in Careers Standard Assessor using the Career Mark approach and can conduct face to face and remote assessments on behalf of Complete-Careers LLP.

I am a freelance career guidance practitioner providing one to one guidance services to schools in Leicestershire.
