About Me

I am a CDI Registered Career Development Professional and Independent Careers Consultant dedicated to broadening horizons and creating solutions by helping young people and schools navigate the careers landscape. By combining an extensive academic background, practical expertise and business experience, I support both individual students and school leadership teams to navigate the rapidly changing careers landscape.

For Private Clients: I provide impartial 1:1 career coaching focused on critical post-16 and post-18 transition options. I am known for my empathetic approach which is grounded in coaching and counselling methodologies. I create safe, comfortable spaces where young people feel heard and empowered to share open, honest views. Each young person is an individual to me, put at the centre of any discussion and overcome any barriers they may face.

For Schools: I offer 1:1 independent and impartial careers guidance for students fulfilling Gatsby Benchmark 8. I offer support leadership teams in the strategic development of their careers programme, helping them to design, implement, and develop robust, compliant institutional career strategies. I have an in-depth understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks and Government Statutory Guidance so that you are compliant and ensure your students have the best careers education programme suited to their needs .

I have a PhD from the University of Bath, where I focused on Impact of Degree Apprenticeships on Social Mobility. I have an MA from the University of Derby in Education specialising in Career Guidance together with a BSc Psychology from The Open University.
I also have Post-Graduate Diplomas in Coaching as well as Solution-Focused Brief Counselling. I am also undertaking the L6 Careers Leader Diploma. I strictly adhere to the CDI Code of Conduct and maintain active CDI Registered Professional status through continuous professional development.
