About Me

I am a careers and labour market information (LMI) consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the careers sector. I work with careers companies, local authorities and education establishments to provide a wide range of services around career and labour market information and intelligence with the aim of supporting young people and adults to make informed choices when planning their careers.

I deliver CPD training and presentations for careers, education and employment practitioners; these have included masterclasses and workshops for the CDI, for large careers organisations, FE colleges and whole-school staff CPD on the future labour market and embedding careers into the curriculum. As well as being a Registered Career Development Professional, I am a qualified information professional and provide consultancy around the role of careers and labour market information within CEIAG provision and as part of the Quality in Careers Standard which includes supporting schools and colleges with their online information and careers libraries.

I am treasurer of the Careers Writers Association and am experienced in developing resources for a wide variety of organisations such as lesson plans, leaflets and guides on local and national labour markets.
