About Me

I am employed as the Careers Lead at The Norton Knatchbull School, working across all years 7 to 13 to deliver careers education and guidance. 

With over fifteen years of experience in secondary education provision I deliver activities such as  one-to-one and group guidance/career lessons, as well as assemblies and CPD sessions for all staff. My role enables me to feed directly into our senior leadership structure.

I also design and evaluate our careers strategy and work closley alongside the other schools and colleges in our area as the chair person for the Ashford and District CEIAG network. 

Qualified to level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance, I am also qualified to Level 6 In Career Leadership. 

Being in a school setting enables me to have an opportunity to get to know and understand the needs of each of our students and provide them with impartial careers guidance throughout thier time at school and quite often beyond. I plan, manage and deliver large scale events such as careers fairs and networking events, that provide many opportunities to explore pathways and make connections.
