About Me

I am a qualified and registered career coach with over 20 years experience coaching. I support individuals and professionals to move from feeling stuck, uncertain, or drained, to feeling energised, clear, and more in control of their direction. I am based in Edinburgh and work 3 days a weeks for Skills Development Scotland and 2 days a week freelance coaching with Stay Nimble. Alongside coaching, I bring reflective practice to life through facilitation and the design of tools and resources that support advisers and their clients to grow. I help people realise that work doesn’t have to feel heavy. It can be engaging, meaningful, and even fun. By creating space for honest reflection, I support people to reconnect with their strengths, understand what energises them, and use that insight to shape a future that genuinely fits. My approach blends curiosity, structure, and creativity. I don’t give answers. I help people find their own, with greater confidence and clarity. I also embrace digital delivery, using online coaching, webinars, and facilitation to make development more accessible, flexible, and engaging. As the CDI representative for Scotland on the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee, I’m committed to raising the quality of reflective practice and supporting meaningful professional growth across the careers sector. I love to read and study to support my career coaching. I like to keep abreast of the most up to date coaching approaches, and I'm especially interested in well being.
