About Me
Dr Denise Taylor is a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Fellow of the Career Development Institute and has been helping people make sense of who they are, what they want to do and effective job search for well over 20 years. Her specialist area is around life transitions and her doctoral research was on how people find meaning after full-time work.
Denise has a first degree in Psychology and 2 master's degrees: Occupational Psychology and Business Admin (MBA) and is noted as being creative, visionary and fun to work with. She loves to gather new information and resources to best serve her clients.
Denise has regular appearances in the media including regular slots on Radio 5 Live and an expert to the Guardian Career Forums.
Winner of 2 national career awards, Denise is the author of 8 career books including Find Work at 50+, 'How to Get a Job in a Recession' and 'Now You've Been Shortlisted' and the creator of online career programmes such as Get Interview Ready.
Denise set up Amazing People in 1998 to offer a friendly and creative career coaching service to individuals. Whilst based in Gloucestershire, Denise has clients from all over the UK and indeed the world who have sessions by phone and Skype. Denise is qualified to use all reputable assessments including the MBTI and is a Certified Personal Branding Strategist, trained with William Arruda.
