About Me

I am an experienced Careers Leader and qualified careers guidance practitioner with 25 years’ experience supporting young people and adults across further education, schools and Local Authority SEND services. I currently lead the strategic development and delivery of careers education at SWRAC College, ensuring that provision is aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and meets the needs of learners with a wide range of additional needs. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance (Merit), am a qualified teacher, and have an NVQ Level 4 in Learning, Development and Support Services, alongside a BA (Hons) Psychology. My professional background combines extensive SEND casework experience with frontline careers guidance and teaching. I am particularly experienced in supporting learners with EHCPs and those requiring additional transition planning, with strong knowledge of post-16 and post-19 pathways. I work closely with curriculum teams, parents, employers and external agencies to support positive and realistic progression outcomes.
