About Me

My work life to date has been a journey of discovery. I did not follow a ‘traditional’ route into higher education as a young person, and instead maximised opportunities to develop my skills and capabilities through a wide-range of roles, predominantly in training, development and talent management. 

Feedback throughout my career states a natural empathic style with the capability to get the best out of everyone. I am now using both my life and work experiences to coach young people in making informed career choices that are right for them.

I believe that my role is not to assess a young person on their suitability for a chosen career, but to effectively listen, question and challenge, so that they reach their own conclusion and take ownership in moving forward with their career decision making.

Every young person is unique, many with Growing minds and Big Ideas. For those that are struggling to take next steps, I can support them by expanding their knowledge of what opportunities are available to them and by raising aspirations so that they can reach their potential in a rapidly changing careers landscape.

My goal is always to create an enviroment which sparks curiosity, awareness and the development of career management skills that can be used throughout a young person's career.
