About Me

I am fully qualified and registered Careers Adviser with the CDI, I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development and have over years 25 years experience of working with young people and adults in a guidance capacity within schools, further education settings, public organisations and private industry.

I also hold a Level 4 Preparing for Teaching and Learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualification, a Level 3 Counselling Certificate and a NEBOSH General Certificate amongst other qualifications. I am experienced in working with neurodiverse, SEND and hard to reach clients and can quickly build up a rapport with new people from all backgrounds in a positive and non-judgemental manner.

My current role is working for Education Business Partnership ( North West) Limited. We offer a commissioned service for schools to provide independent and impartial careers guidance for secondary schools students and accompanying services to support schools to achieve the requirements of the Gatsby Benchmarks, the DfE statutory careers education standards, and OFSTED. Our service also offers support with employer engagement work experience, mock interviews and employability skills and mentoring.
