About Me

Having worked in Recruitment for over 20 years, I changed direction during the pandemic and completed an MA in Career Guidance and Development. Going back to university decades after my first degree was daunting, but I’m so glad I did it. Four years on, I’m excited to be working in the stimulating and rewarding careers sector, and it’s a real privilege to work with students, graduates and mature people to support them on their career journeys.

QCD (Level 7 Masters) qualified in career guidance and development, awarded by the Career Development Institute and member of the CDI.

Volunteering within the local Ukrainian community, I have provided mentoring, careers guidance and practical support to help young people and adults navigate education pathways and access employment opportunities. I also helped to establish and support HUSC (Hilltops Ukrainian Support Community), which supports Ukrainians arriving through the ‘Family’ and ‘Homes for Ukraine’ schemes. This has been a deeply rewarding and humbling experience, supporting people to rebuild their lives and career aspirations in a new culture and language.
