Caroline Hiorns

About Me

Caroline has worked in two secondary schools providing career guidance to pupils from both UK and international backgrounds. Her emphasis is on helping pupils build their career management skills, developing their self-awareness, knowledge of the full range of opportunities and the diverse routes to them and how to maximise their success. She is passionate about helping pupils to find their voice, to tell their story, to be the best version of themselves and to become pro-active, strategic managers of their career. She has developed a career management table to help pupils grow career management skills to use throughout their lives. It also has many in school uses such as for mock interview applications, personal statements, CVs and guidance interview recording. Alongside this Caroline has developed and run career education activities and several career fairs both virtual, in person and hybrid.
