About Me

Half English, half Dutch; born in Kenya; raised in Africa, the Middle East, North America and England; and now living in Luxembourg I understand what it means to be both a "3rd Culture Kid" and, as a married mother, an expat parent.

I am a Registered Career Development Professional with the Career Development Institute in the UK and hold qualifications in Career Development and Coaching. I am currently working on my dissertation to obtain a Masters in Career Development at the University of Warwick in the UK.

I aim to provide young people with the necessary tools to begin their career journey with curiosity and confidence, and to enable parents to be better placed to guide their child through this exciting period in their life.

It is hugely important that we live a life of meaning, enjoyment and purpose and I believe that young people should be encouraged to explore as many opportunities and experiences as possible to help them see their time at school as a stepping stone to where they want to go, rather than a punishment for being young. A person's career is a key part of their life story, but sometimes our children have no idea when or how to start on their career path and parents don't always know the best way to help.

My passion is for adventure: trying new things, visiting new places and being on the road. My nomadic upbringing has left its mark and I am happiest on the move.
