About Me
I provide 1-1 impartial, personalised, and compassionate careers advice and guidance to secondary school students, with a focus on Year 10 and 11 when making decisions for post-16 education.I also coordinate the work experience process each year, which includes supporting students with finding and applying for placements, as well as designing an in-school programme for students who did not manage to secure a placement.
I plan and organise careers workshops, events and trips for all students, focusing on specific industries and themes so the careers programme can be varied and adapted to each individual's needs and interests. Connecting with various employers, and education and training providers is vital to my role as it improves the school's engagement with careers and helps students with making more informed decisions regarding their future.
