T Level provisional results 2026

T Level results from 2026 show that student numbers have risen by 65.1% in their fifth year. The number of providers delivering T Level industry placements has also increased by 20.4%.

Data released by the Department for Education (DfE) on Level 3 results day provides the following key headlines:
  • This is the fifth year of T Level results – 19,665 students received results, with an overall pass rate of 92.6% (68.9% achieved a Merit or above; 18.1% achieved a Distinction or above).
  • This includes the award of three new subjects for the first time – Craft & Design, Animal Care and Management and Media, Broadcast and Production, which cover 8% of students who received results.
  • 97.2% of students from this year’s cohort have completed their industry placement, with some students still working towards completing their placement at a later date.
  • Over 90% of students are going on to work or further study, with two thirds working in the same general subject area as their course. 81% of students who applied to HE in the 2025 admission cycle were placed.
It is important to note that every year, the provisional results are revised, following reviews of marking and moderation (ROMMs), resits and late completions of industry placements.
