Skills hubs target five skills shortage areas
The Local Government Association (LGA) is launching a skills hub programme focused on addressing five occupational skill shortages facing councils.
With the support of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the programme will see up to 45 English councils working together on workforce planning initiatives.
The five occupational shortage areas identified are legal, environmental health, digital and ICT, finance and civil engineering.
