Skills England publishes priority skills to 2030
The Assessment of Priority Skills published by Skills England shows the huge need for training and skills development across ten critical industrial sectors by 2030. It expects a significant expansion of demand for workers in priority occupations that will outpace growth in other sectors.
Digital technology, adult social care, construction and engineering are expected to see the biggest rises in job demand. A third of the extra requirement will be for workers with level 2 and 3 qualifications with the others being at higher levels.
