ScreenSkills end of service report for Discover! Creative Careers
Following a retender of the service by DCMS, ScreenSkills have ended their work delivering the Discover! Creative Careers programme ahead of it becoming the Creative Careers Service, with a new provider as who is yet to be announced.
To mark the end of their work, ScreenSkills published an impact report and video celebrating the huge achievements they have made since 2023. Over 210,000 young people have had creative industry encounters, including 146,000 last year. That includes over 11,000 young people in Scotland and nearly 10,000 in Wales.
Discover! Creative Careers engaged 1,500 schools and over 1,000 employers since 2023, with a social media reach of 30 million and attracting in-kind contributions of £2m from industry.
