Scottish Government’s £2m investment in Union Learning Fund

The Scottish Government is investing £2m in the latest round of the Union Learning Fund to support 23 programmes helping Scottish workers gain skills in sectors as diverse as social care and steel.

Projects include transitioning to net zero industries, literacy and numeracy courses, specific skills needs in the Highlands and Islands – including in the offshore wind industry – and more.

The fund, working with the Scottish Trades Union Congress builds on the £30m investment since 2015.
