Scottish Government announces support for people to get into work
The Scottish Government has announced £228,000 of funding to support people with a disability or long-term health condition to find and retain work.
It covers three new initiatives to enable people with diverse needs to enter stay in or progress in work. It aims to expand flexible working, with one project aiming to equip manufacturing employers to adopt flexible working practices, another to support people to stay in work to reduce the disability gap. The third will deliver workshops on inclusive hiring for public sector organisations.
