NICEC seminar: Social Class – a ramp and a barrier, 20th January
NICEC’s next seminar will be held online at 5pm on Tuesday 20th January and covers Social Class – a ramp and a barrier to career aspirations, decision making and pathways.
The seminar looks at how social class affects career decisions and outcomes, though is often an overlooked aspect of diversity. Dr Kyla Ellis and Kate Alexander from the Institute for Employment Studies will share their research into social class impacts on careers decision making, showing how it can be a ramp or a barrier to different careers.
The interactive seminar will include opportunities to share knowledge and experience of social class related to careers advice and guidance.
