Latest updates to the CPD diary to record your activity
One of the core CDI member benefits is the ability to record your continuing professional development (CPD) on our website, capturing your personal development as your career progresses. For those on the register of UK Career Development Professionals, updating the CPD Diary is also needed to meet the required 25 hours of CPD a year.
We’re excited to share that the CPD Diary has recently undergone significant upgrades, improving how members document and manage their CPD activities. These enhancements make it easier to maintain accurate records with greater flexibility and control. The include;
In 2026, we will introduce a highly anticipated export and download feature, allowing you to save a complete copy of your CPD records in a convenient format, streamlining the process of sharing achievements with employers, professional bodies, or for personal reference.
We remain committed to supporting members’ professional journeys, with further updates planned to ensure the CPD Diary evolves in line with your needs and industry standards.

- A ‘View CPD Entry’ button to access the complete details of each CPD activity, making it easier to monitor and review your professional learning, supporting better organisation and transparency.
- Members can now edit historical records to update information, correct errors, or supplement past records with new insights or outcomes. This ensures that all CPD records reflect ongoing professional growth.
- An option has also been added to delete CPD entries, giving you full autonomy over your personal CPD data, and manage your professional profile with confidence.
