L&WI Employment and Skills Convention moves to Manchester – 2nd July

This year’s Learning & Work Institute (L&WI) Employment and Skills Convention will be held on Thursday 2nd July in Manchester.

The convention brings together employers and the skills sector – including representatives from career development such as the CDI – to explore key policy and delivery issues.

The theme for 2026 is how to grow opportunity and unlock potential in a changing workforce. It looks at how to create and connect young people to opportunity, how technology is shaping demand for skills, and how people and their employers can be supported as the economy changes.

The event is free to attend but, with limited places, a maximum of two people can attend from each organisation.

Register for the Employment and Skills Convention.
