Join the CDPG’s House of Lords careers event online- 25th November
The Career Development Policy Group are sponsoring a House of Lords event hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills, Careers and Employment on 25th November. Working with Policy Connect, the CDPG are delighted to present their third annual event in Parliament.
The meeting will be chaired by Darren Paffey MP and Baroness Garden. Invitations have been sent to Minister Jacqui Smith, MPs and members of the House of Lords, key civil servants in DWP and DfE, employers and key stakeholders across careers and education.
The meeting will discuss the current status of policy regarding career development in England, the potential for greater support to help young people and adults, and how we can make the case for investment by local and national government in careers support.
The in-person event is invitation only but will also be available to join online. The meeting will run from 2pm to 4pm and you can sign up now to join online.
