Join the APPG session with Minister Jacqui Smith – 3rd March

The APPG for Skills, Careers and Employment is partly funded by the Career Development Policy Group (of which the CDI is a member) to engage policymakers in key aspects of careers guidance in England.

From 5:00-6:30pm on Tuesday 3rd March, the APPG is hosting a Post-16 Education and Skills White Paper deep dive with Minister Jacqui Smith. Chaired by Lauren Edwards MP, the session will bring together parliamentarians, policymakers, careers and education specialists and employers for a discussion on the Government’s intent, priorities and timelines for post-16 education.

The event, organised by Policy Connect, will include discussion on how the White Paper links to Skills England and labour market strategies, as well as what this might mean for learners, education and careers providers, employers and local authorities.

Register to attend the APPG event with Jacqui Smith online.
