Edge Foundation launches apprenticeships guide for small businesses
Edge have now launched a guide for small business on getting started with apprenticeships. The guide lays out the steps towards taking an apprentice on in a small business, explaining the value of apprenticeships to the organisation and learner, the likely costs and government incentives, as well as the key steps and considerations to successfully recruit an apprentice.
While aimed at small businesses, the guide could be a valuable resource for careers teams to engage local employers and break down barriers to taking on an apprentice.
