CDI signs up to the Get the Nation Learning Charter
The CDI has signed up to the Get the Nation Learning Charter, part of the campaign led by the Learning & Work Institute (L&WI).
L&WI established the campaign to promote the benefits of lifelong learning, because ‘when adults learn, our society and economy thrive’. Despite the many benefits of adult learning, investment and participation has fallen significantly over the last ten years, exposing deep inequalities in opportunities.
The CDI has signed up to the Charter in commitment to making the case for the value of lifelong learning. In supporting career development professionals who work with adults, we are committed to ensuring every person has access to the opportunities to learn throughout their lives, helping them achieve their life and career goals.
We are delighted to be part of a community that includes the Association of Colleges, Age UK, Chartered Institute for IT, British Army, the BFI, Channel 4, City & Guilds, Education and Training Foundation, NCFE, Screenskills, Skillsbuilder Partnership, the Skills federation, Open University and many more.
