CDI National Conference – call for workshops
Nominations for workshops to be presented at the CDI National Conference on 2nd and 3rd of December are open until 5pm on Monday 14th September.
This year’s event is being held at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham, just a short walk from New Street Station, and promises to be another amazing event bringing together practitioners, researchers, policymakers and more from all areas of career development practice.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘A career-ready UK: Ensuring young people and adults can thrive throughout life’, exploring what it means to build a career-readiness through lifelong learning, career management and essential work skills. We'll examine how career readiness can be developed across education and adulthood, while championing it as a key goal and highlighting the value of professional career development.
As well as keynote talks, panels and an exhibition, a key part of the conference is a wide range of workshops exploring different aspects of the main theme, across young people and adults, throughout the UK. We are now inviting proposals for conference workshops to take place across the two days.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work and share innovative approaches, successes and insights with fellow career development professionals. Presenting at the conference not only raises the profile of your organisation but also fosters collaboration and dialogue around your areas of expertise. As always, we are keen to hear from both experienced presenters and those newer to running conference sessions, as we seek to encourage both established and new voices.
