Career Development Archive now online from Warwick University library

I am delighted that the Career Development Archive is now fully catalogued and available to view from the University of Warwick.

Volunteers Anthony Barnes and Heather Jackson put in a huge effort to sort through and categorise the extensive archive that had been held at the CDI's Stourbridge offices. They then worked with the University of Warwick Library's archive team to move the collections there and the team at Warwick have now completed the online catalogue of all the items.

The archive includes collections from the CDI and preceding organisations (ACEG, NAEGA, and ICG) as well as from NICEC. It also includes personal collections from individuals such as Catherine Avent OBE, the Birkdale Collection, Peter Goodison and Michael Howard, as well as collections from Connexions and other organisations.

I am enormously grateful to Anthony and Heather, all those who have donated collections and the teams at the CDI and Warwick for helping get to this point - where we have an archive for the profession housed in the ideal environment and fully catalogued.

You can view the Career Development Archive catalogiue and access materials by appointment with the team at Warwick.
