Call for evidence launched for Skills Audit for Wales
The Skills Audit for Wales will bring together existing evidence, analyse available data and gather views from industry representatives, employers, skills providers and other key stakeholders. The findings will help shape planning and decision‑making by policymakers, employers, education and training providers and others with an interest in Wales’ long‑term skills requirements.
As part of the audit, Learning and Work Institute Cymru is running a call for evidence, inviting stakeholders to contribute relevant evidence and insights about skills needs in Wales. Responses will help inform the evidence base for the 2026 Skills Audit and support future planning and decision‑making across the country. Stakeholders can also preview the survey questions before submitting their views.
For practitioners, the call for evidence offers a structured opportunity to share what they are seeing on the ground in relation to skills gaps, emerging needs and effective practice, ensuring these perspectives are reflected in the national skills picture.
