Braverman announced as Reform spokesperson for education and skills
Nigel Farage has announced his ‘shadow cabinet’ and named Suella Braverman as the party’s spokesperson for education, skills and equalities.
As part of the announcement, Braverman set out a 50% target of young people going into the trades, contrasting it with previous the government target of 50% of young people going to university. The announcement included criticism of universities and ‘mickey mouse’ degrees, citing high graduate unemployment.
