Australian webinar on Modern Work Experience – 29 July
The Careers Industry Council of Australia (CICA) are hosting a webinar on ‘Using Modern Work Experience to Inspire the Next Generation’ on 29 July.
Work experience is changing, with today's rapidly evolving labour market requiring broader, more flexible approaches that better reflect modern workplaces and career pathways.
This webinar is aimed at career development professionals supporting young people to explore their future pathways. Based on experience in the UK, the session explores the principles and practical strategies outlined in the Modern Work Experience Guide.
Attendees will hear how about approaches and innovative models that help young people gain confidence, develop employability skills, explore career opportunities, and gain meaningful insights into the world of work. It will also highlight employer benefits from stronger talent pipelines, improved community engagement, and opportunities to connect with future generations of workers.
Participants will explore how schools, teachers, career practitioners, employers, and families can work together, through practical examples, case studies, and proven approaches.
