Drawing on Sue’s Textures of Groupwork model and Susan’s GATE framework, this session offers a taster of how group career guidance can meet individual needs within a group setting.
Participants will be invited to read a short series of CDI Career Matters articles in advance, showcasing real-world examples of group guidance in higher education, community, and school contexts. The workshop will build on these insights to explore how structured process models, skilled facilitation, and guidance techniques can support client-led reflection, ethical group management, and emergent career development — without defaulting to content-heavy delivery.
