Career development practice has long drawn upon the foundational skills and conditions of counselling and therapy, while maintaining clear boundaries around the scope of the role. Increasingly, practitioners are exploring how selected counselling models - used with sensitivity and discernment - can enrich their work.

This workshop is designed for experienced professionals who are confident in core counselling skills such as empathetic listening, reflecting back and holding space with presence. Together, we will explore how models like Human Givens, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and dialogical approaches can be safely and meaningfully integrated into career conversations.
