QCD and Student Membership Fees Payment

To enable us to start your QCD journey with the CDI we require you to click the link below and submit the QCD Student Membership form. (Without this information we will be unable to process you onto our database and send you your membership benefits.

Once we have received your Student Membership form you will be sent a Welcome email which will provide you with the following details. 

  • CDI membership number and password which enables your access to all CPD resources. 

  • QCD Course Fee and CDI QCD Student membership fee invoices (if applicable) 

  • Details of how to pay 

  • Details of the CDI website and your benefits 

  • CDI Student logo 

QCD and Membership Fees

The QCD fee for both full and part-time students is a one-off fee of £310. You are also required to have a CDI Student Membership account, at a cost of £55 for the duration of your course. When you have completed your course and we have been notified by your University, you will receive an email with information about membership going forwards and the opportunity to join the UK Register of Career Development Professionals.

If you are paying the QCD fee yourself you can pay by Credit CardBACS or Direct Debit. 

If your employer or university is paying your QCD fees we will invoice them provided you have supplied an email address on your student membership form.

Pay any CDI invoice using the secure GoCardless one-off payment system, request a link by emailing Lyn.burgess@thecdi.net with your membership or invoice number.

Direct debit
Direct debit

We accept Direct Debit in single-payments or in a range of instalment options (admin fees may apply.) Please contact lyn.burgess@thecdi.net who can support you in setting up a direct debit. 

Late Payment

We ask that you pay your fees in full or initiate the direct debit process within a month of your course starting. Failure to do so will result in a late payment fee of £50 for each month that you fail to pay. 

You must be a CDI Student Member and your QCD fee paid in order that your qualification can be moderated and awarded. 

Fees can be refunded if a student leaves the course within the first month. Refunds after this date, due to exceptional circumstances, are at the discretion of the Professional Training Manager.
