Working Together to Progress Equality (Early Evening CPD - Scotland)

Specific objectives help to improve young people’s career horizons and partnership working between CIAG staff and stakeholders such as employers, educators, training providers and other agencies can help to mainstream equalities practice. Emma Bolger is an Equality Adviser in the National Training Programmes team at Skills Development Scotland (SDS). At this event, Emma will explain why SDS is creating new models to improve equality of access to Modern Apprenticeships and present example activity being undertaken to address bias in career choice. This will be followed by a Q&A looking at how practitioners can embed equality in their practice, overcome challenges and barriers and find further examples of good practice.
