CDI launches Valuing Careers campaign

The CDI has launched its new Valuing Careers campaign, aming to demonstrate why policymakers and the general public should care about career development.

The campaign will focus on raising the profile of the value of career development in three areas;
  • As a policy solution to economic and social challenges,
  • In supporting members of the public as they manage their careers and undertake transitions, and
  • As an opportunity for those looking to work in a profession that helps people achieve their best.
Career development professionals are proud of the work they do and their impact for the individuals they work with, yet the profession remains undervalued for the benefit it brings for individuals, the economy and society. While the CDI has undertaken and supported discrete activities to date, the campaign looks to bring existing and new activities together to drive greater momentum over a sustained period of time.

You can find out more on the Valuing Careers campaign page and by joining a free webinar with Caroline Green, CDI Content & Campaigns Manager, on 20th February.
