This expert training online session is aimed at career practitioners who are working with schools that are resistant to attempts to improve the delivery of CEIAG.
During the session we will explore
· What is the root cause of the resistance?
· What are the drivers that can be used improve SLT engagement?
· Allies and how to use them.
· Raising the profile of CEIAG within the school
· What do you want to achieve and how will you know if you get it?

Aim: The workshop aims to empower attendees to challenge the resistance of the management system of the school with whom they are working in a way that improves the status and importance of CEIAG within the school and its stakeholders.
Learning Outcomes
Key objectives of the workshop are to:
· To understand and identify the main barriers to SLT support for CEIAG within the school.
· To ensure that attendees are fully informed about statutory guidance, legal obligations and other possible drivers for improvement and how they can be used to encourage SLT buy in.
· To identify and form a plan for utilisation of allies to encourage SLT to value CEIAG
· To be able to define your own success criteria for improvement and to be able use this to evaluate your achievement.
