In this webinar participants will learn about how race relates to career, information advice and guidance practice. In facilitating discussions about race and career guidance practice, the webinar will enable participants to better consider the impact of race on their work and undertake more confident conversations with colleagues and clients. After an introduction covering key points relating to how racism presents in society, with real-life examples, we will explore the use of inclusive language and proactive positive action to address inequality. We will also highlight some of the key points that were raised when we consulted with ethnic minority colleagues within the sector to learn about their experiences.
