CDI Certificate for Careers Assistants

This new two-day course is for Careers Assistants who support Careers Leaders in the administration and delivery of the careers programme and the achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks and Quality in Careers Standard. The course will also cover how to meet the careers information needs of pupils/students; how to comply with relevant legislation and the CDI Code of Ethics and how you can keep your skills and knowledge up to date. For those wishing to accredit their learning and experience, we offer an optional accreditation package for the achievement of the QCF Level 4 Diploma in three Careers Information and Advice units.

Cyber security and data protection are currently big news. How secure is your password? How resilient are your systems? How are you managing your own personal cyber security and that of your clients? What are you telling clients about how to keep their data, eg CVs, safe? In line with our Digital Strategy, this new one-day training course focuses on cyber security: the protection of internet-connected systems, including hardware, software and data from cyber attacks. During the course we will cover the basics of cyber security and what you can do to protect the information you work with, and your clients.
