How Career Development Professionals Can Support The Ageing Workforce

December 4th - Gateshead Hilton

In the Western world, societies are aging on a rapid scale: in a few years, the over 50s workforce will be the majority of generations in the working population. Yet despite the growing number of older workers, a lot is left to be desired when it comes to their participation in the labour market, their career prospects, job security and continuous skills development for this diverse cohort.

We believe strongly that the CDI community offers solutions to the pressing needs of older workers.

This CDI master class offers the chance to dive deeper into this topic and discover ways how you can make a difference to your clients over 50, whether you work for a service provider or in private practice.

The Masterclass will focus on:

  • The importance and nature of Midlife Career Reviews – using practical examples, challenges that occur and ideas on how to coach our clients through an insightful and empowering review
