Careers advice is a ‘national scandal’ warns NUS

The National Union of Students (NUS) has slammed the state of careers advice as a “national scandal”. Research undertaken by polling company YouGov, released in partnership with the Times Educational Supplement (TES), has revealed that careers advice in schools does little to influence the decision making of students when they plan their future career pathways. This comes at a time when the Government has confirmed it has missed its targets for careers advisers in schools. Read the article here
