The London Assembly has released a report called 'Tailor-made: Improving adult careers services in London'. The report argues that the capital's economy is being held back by the skills shortage and careers services in London are falling short particularly for people over 50, parents, women and those in low paid jobs.

The report recommends more tailored support for people over 50, women and low paid workers. It also suggests the London Enterprise Panel and London government should have a clear role in shaping careers services in the capital to fully reflect the needs of Londoners, employers and the economy.
