How you can pay

There are a number of ways you can pay your membership subscription

1. Direct Debit

Keep your membership up to date by Direct Debit and never miss a renewal. Each membership rate has its own mandate form to complete, so please ensure that the  mandate you choose correlates with your membership type:

Please note that these mandate forms are for new member applications only and not for renewals. A renewal mandate form is available through the renewal letter which will automatically be sent with your renewal invoice.
Paying by instalments

We also offer a direct debit plan of 3 instalments of £38 for members' wishing to renew, and  3 instalments of £45 for new members (including the joining fee), however this will increase your membership fee to £114 or £135 for new members. An instalment plan can be requested by emailing Laura Johnson at accounts@thecdi.net.

Please note that this option is only avialable for Individual members, and is not possible for people joining the Professional Register. 

Professional Register

If you have already paid your Membership fee, and wish to set up a Direct Debit for the Professional Register (£55 for the first year, £25 for each subsequent) please complete this mandate.

Please note that you must have a CDI member to be eligible to go on to the Register. Paying the Register fee alone does not entitle you to CDI Membership. If you are a Registered Professional, this is already included in the initial price.

QCD Students

From September 2018, QCD students will also be able to pay their membership and course fees to the CDI by means of two direct debit payments: £210 at the start of the course and a second payment of £165 in February for those starting in Sept/Oct and in May for those starting the QCD in January. 

2. Other Payment Methods

  • Credit Card: Download, complete and return the Credit Card authorisation form to us. Alternatively we can take card payments over the telephone - please call: 01384 376464
  • Cheque: made payable to the Career Development Institute. Please post your cheque to Career Development Institute, Ground Floor, Copthall House, 1 New Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY8 1PH
  • BACS transfer: to the Career Development Institute at Lloyds Bank, Sort Code 30-98-21, Account 25337168
  • Internet banking: Pay us direct from your PC if you are registered for internet banking with your bank. Please quote your invoice or membership number as the reference. CDI Bank details can be found at the bottom of this page, on any CDI invoice, or by calling 01384 376464.

3. Notes

If you are a new member there is a one-off £25 administration fee that will be invoiced with your annual membership fee.

Our payment terms are 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Please quote your membership number on any payment (eg in a BACS transaction reference box or on the back of your cheque) so that we can credit your account promptly.  Remember that you can claim tax relief on your membership subscription - Tax Relief for Membership Fee
