>log on | move on> is an education, training and careers website covering the travel to learn area of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.
>log on | move on>, led by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council, supports young people in planning, preparation and applications for their post 16 education and training journey into the world of work. The website also supports adults looking for local post 18 education and training opportunities including supported work-based opportunities.
>log on | move on> has course, apprenticeship opportunities and events uploaded and maintained by local providers and employers, and information pages and links to local labour market resources. An account can be created to access a skills passport, cv writer, eLearning platform and Preparation for Adulthood 'This is Me' tool.
Pupils are introduced to >log on | move on > from year 9 as part of preparation for options and, uniquely, their account stays with them until their 19th birthday or 25th for SEND regardless of which school, providers or employers they attend. Careers leaders use the administration area to monitor and track usage by students and post 16 application status. Post 16 providers administer their applications and communicate with applicants via the website. The local authorities use >log on move on> to support a number of statutory duties.
>log on | move on> is a partnership between East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull City Council, schools, post 16 providers from 7 local authority areas and local employers.

Eye On Careers
Eye on Careers, were looking to find a way that any student (or parent) could access high quality careers information, advice and guidance easily - now and in the future. Thus we created a digital careers program, available to all students through their school or college intranet, which students can access not only in their careers lessons but at any time they wanted. Eye on Careers gives students the necessary careers skills for each academic year, 8 through to 13, so that they can make informed decisions for the choices ahead of them.
We decided to go further by making careers information, advice and guidance accessible to all by producing an e-magazine aimed at school and college students, available termly; year group careers workbooks and are working on apps for mobiles and tablets, as well as podcasts.
Of course, careers guidance is not just for students but people of all ages! Thus Eye on Careers offers careers coaching for adults as well students.
