Understanding the roots of routes: the role of occupational maps in the design of the new technical education system and their potential use for career guidance

Occupational maps will be the driver of the new technical education system. 15 occupational maps have been developed to show the occupations within each of the technical education routes and illustrate the relationships between apprenticeships and T-levels as well as the possible career progression routes.

This webinar will be presented by Gatsby colleagues who led on the development of the maps.

Daniel Sandford Smith will explain how LMI was used to develop the maps and how this may make the maps a useful tool for all those giving advice on technical education choices.
