The following is a list of institutions that offer the CDI Qualification in Career Guidance (QCG) or the Qualification in Career Guidance and Development (QCGD):

Canterbury Christ Church University

Coventry University
As well as offering the full-time route, we also offer the course on a flexible, distance/blended learning basis so that you can combine work and study.  The flexible route is taken part-time and you don’t need to attend during the week.  Instead, you would follow a structured programme of learning using high quality distance learning materials.  These are complemented by six Saturday schools per year and tailored tutorial support.

University of Huddersfield - Full Time & Part Time

London South Bank University
At LSBU we offer modular pathways providing opportunities for practitioners and managers to explore key issues relating to careers education and guidance theory and practice.  All modules provide a structured programme of blended-learning combining the best of face-to-face teaching with digital technologies to provide flexible work-based learning for today’s student.

Nottingham Trent University
We offer a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance (PG Dip CG) / Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG) dual award, providing a professional qualification and training. The course is available full-time (two days a week), part-time (one day a week) and via blended learning ( a combination of face-to-face study days and online learning. If you don't not want to complete the full award you can also study individual modules via blended learning. We also offer the MA Professional Practice in Career Guidance for those who already hold a Professional qualification.
University of Ulster at Magee

Edinburgh Napier University

Careers South West
The CSW Assessment Centre is an established centre offering qualifications including the QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development (full or 3 units); Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice and Levels 3 &4 Advice and Guidance. For Careers Coordinators/Heads of Careers we are able to offer the QCF Level 4 Certificate in Skills in Managing Careers in a Learning Environment or the 3 Level 6 units (Lead and Manage Careers Provision) required for the CDI Certificate in Careers Leadership. Delivered using a blended learning approach with full access to resources through our e-portfolio.

Futures Professional Development Centre
Futures Professional Development Centre in the East Midlands delivers a wide range of accredited qualifications including: NVQ 3 in Advice and Guidance, QCF Level 4 Diploma in Careers information and Advice, QCF Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development, QCF Level 6 - 3 specified units (if already hold NVQ 4 in Advice and Guidance or LDSS and want to upgrade), QCF Level 4 Certificate in Skills in Managing Careers Guidance in a Learning Environment

The JGA Group
The JGA Group (http://www.jga-group.co.uk) delivers the Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice (QCF) and Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development (QCF) in north west London. We also recruit advisers from our own programmes!

Open University
The Open University VQ Assessment Centre has been successfully delivering vocational qualifications for 20 years.
We offer Level 4 and Level 6 qualifications for the Career Guidance sector and a range of qualifications spanning sectors including management, learning and development and working with substance misuse. All our qualifications are offered using a blended distance learning approach with direct observation of working practice supported by an eportfolio.
