CPD Opportunities in Wales 2016

This is the CDI’s ‘Year of Professionalism’ and in Wales we are offering a new series of free early evening CPD sessions, which will take place in different towns.

Professionalism is important to any workforce and none more so than our own. But what does it mean in practice and how can we pursue and cement our professional status both as individuals and as a sector? Taking forward this theme we are organising a varied programme of professional development activities in Wales from May 2016 onwards in different venues throughout Wales.

      • 18.10 - Update on the CDI – Business Plan; activities; projects etc
      • 18.25 - Q&A; networking
      • 18.30 - Ends

These free to attend after work events will start at 17.00 and finish 18.30. Please register your interest by booking through the website. Non-members are welcome to come along to one session as a taster, so please encourage friends and colleagues to sign up.

NICEC/CDI At the Cutting Edge Research into Practice Day

2017 will be the CDI Year of Advocating on Behalf of our Profession, and the draft title and content of the next Cutting Edge Research into Practice event will cover aspects of this important professional development topic: 

'Exploring our professional status as career practitioners through professional identity and professional development'

This free to members event will be held on Tuesday 7 February 2017 at the Park Inn, Cardiff.
